Gold Prices in Pakistan: Surging by Over Rs. 13,000 Per Tola in Just 3 Days 

Gold prices in Pakistan have experienced a remarkable surge, witnessing an increase of over Rs. 13,000 per tola in just three days. According to data released by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs. 5,400 per tola, reaching Rs. 226,400, while the price of 10 grams surged by Rs. 4,630, closing at Rs. 194,102.


This consistent upward trend began at the start of the week with an initial increase of Rs. 1,600 per tola, followed by a substantial surge of Rs. 6,200 per tola on Tuesday.

Today's jump signifies a cumulative increase of Rs. 13,200 per tola, highlighting the rapid rise in the value of this precious metal.

The price of gold had previously dipped to Rs. 204,000 per tola on July 12. However, it has rebounded significantly, gaining Rs. 22,400 per tola since then.

Meanwhile, in the international market, spot gold experienced a slight drop of 0.1 percent, reaching $1,977.63 per ounce by 0821 GMT.

However, US gold futures witnessed a modest increase of 0.1 percent, reaching $1,981.70.

The recent surge in gold prices in Pakistan has captured the attention of investors and consumers alike, signaling potential shifts in the global gold market.
