Holidays in Schools Colleges and Universities in Punjab for General Elections 2024.Mohsin Naqvi CM Punjab has announced an important update on his official Twitter account. He says “Given the upcoming general elections on 8th February, Provincial Cabinet has approved that all public and private sector schools, colleges, and universities in Punjab will be closed from Feb 6th to Feb 9th.
9:30 am timing for schools will only be observed till 3rd February.
Regular school timings will be observed later on.”
General Elections 2024 are scheduled on 8th February 2024 all across the Pakistan.
Therefore in Punjab there will be holidays in schools
colleges and universities. 4th February is Sunday, 5th February is Kashmir Day
Holiday, 6th,7th,8th and 9th February are Elections Holidays.
In this way there will be 6 Holidays in start of February 2024. The school timings are 930 to 230 in all Punjab upto 3 February 2024.
From 10th February 2024 schools will reopen and
830 starting time will be followed.
