State Bank of Pakistan Offers Exciting Summer Internship Program 2024

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a six-week Summer Internship Program for students. The program will take place from June 24 to August 02, 2024, at SBP Karachi.

Pakistani/AJK nationals with a valid CNIC/NICOP/Pakistani passport are invited to participate in the Summer Internship Program, the SBP added.

Applications from students with Pakistani/ AJK nationality having CNIC/NICOP/valid Pakistani passport are invited for participation in SIP as per the eligibility criteria and procedure detailed below.

Internship Program Details:

Duration: 

The Summer Internship Program spans six weeks, running from June 24 to August 02, 2024, at the SBP Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be Pakistani/AJK nationals with a valid CNIC/NICOP/Pakistani passport.
• Students should have completed at least two out of four years in a Bachelor’s degree program or be currently enrolled in a Master’s program.
• Eligible disciplines include Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture, Media Sciences/Mass Communication, Information Systems, and Technology.
• A minimum of 70% marks or a GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 (or 4.00 out of 5.00) is required.
• Application Procedure:
• Incomplete applications lacking necessary information will not be considered.
• Applications submitted in person, via surface mail, or through email will not be entertained.
• Technical issues can be addressed by contacting SBP via email at TechsupportInternship@sbp.org.pk.
• Application Deadline:
• The last date to submit online applications is February 15, 2024.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisted students will be contacted by March 15, 2024.
• Required documents include scanned attested copies of the last semester’s official transcript, CNIC/NICOP/valid Pakistani passport, and domicile, along with one passport size photograph.
• Any attempt to influence the shortlisting process results in automatic disqualification.
• Selection will be made by SBP, and confirmation details will be sent to selected students.

Internship Details:

• The program will be held exclusively at SBP, Karachi.
• Selected interns are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from Karachi and are not entitled to accommodation during the internship.
