Switzerland Extends Support to Pakistan with Advanced Technology Against                   Natural Disasters

Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif hailed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Pakistan and Switzerland for disaster management cooperation. 

The MoU aims to leverage technology and expertise to jointly address natural catastrophes. The prime minister expressed the need for an advanced warning system and other tools to protect Pakistan from the impacts of global climate change. He also emphasized the desire to expand bilateral ties, particularly in tourism. 

The prime minister highlighted the importance of peace in the region and suggested Switzerland's potential role in promoting it. He reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to progress, prosperity, and the resolution of issues like Kashmir. 

The Swiss foreign minister stressed the significance of the MoU in combating climate change and mentioned the urgent need for international cooperation to mitigate the risks associated with natural disasters. Both leaders pledged to strengthen bilateral ties and collaborate further in this area.
