Lucky motor company LMC reveals cut price of cars 2024

Prices of popular KIA models like the Picanto, Stonic, and Sportage will remain unchanged

Lucky Motor Company (LMC), the manufacturer of Kia vehicles in Pakistan, has slashed the prices of Sportage variants by up to Rs. 300,000. Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has yet again rolled out substantial price reductions for its KIA vehicles, marking the second such announcement in less than a month. 

It is pertinent to mention that Kia was the first car manufacturer in the country to announce a major price increase in 2024. Sportage Alpha was one of the two models which saw an increase of Rs. 250,000.

On the other hand, the prices of Sportage FWD, AWD, and Limited Edition have been cut by Rs 300,000. Following the decrease in prices, Sportage Alpha now costs Rs. 7,300,000, FWD Rs. 7,740,000, AWD Rs. 8,470,000 and the Limited Edition now costs Rs. 9,000,000.

Last week, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) announced to increase the prices of its different models by up to Rs. 180,000.

Sportage, Picanto and  Stonic 

While the prices of popular KIA models like the Picanto, Stonic, and Sportage will remain unchanged, the spotlight of this Year-End Celebration falls on the mighty Sorento and Carnival Executive, offering consumers unprecedented savings.

Carnival and Sorento Executive 

• The prices of the KIA Sorento and Carnival Executive have been slashed significantly, with a staggering reduction of Rs. 2,251,000 for both models. The price of the Sorento 2.4L FWD on a full payment option now stands at an appealing Rs. 8,999,000, following a price cut of Rs. 1,301,000. Moreover, for those opting for equal monthly installments, the price has been reduced by Rs. 1,601,000

• For the Sorento 2.4L AWD, the full payment option now costs Rs. 9,249,000, while the equal monthly installment plan is available at Rs. 9,449,000, both reflecting price reductions of Rs. 1,951,000 and Rs. 2,251,000, respectively

• The Sorento 3.5L FWD, another favored model, now presents an irresistible price tag of Rs. 9,499,000 on full payment and Rs. 9,699,000 on equal monthly installment, with discounts of Rs. 1,791,000 and Rs. 2,091,000, respectively

• Not to be outdone, the KIA Carnival Executive also joins the party with a price reduction of Rs. 1,150,000, making it an even more attractive option at Rs. 16,000,000

“The recent appreciation of PKR against the USD, we have decided to pass the benefit to our valued customers by reducing the prices of our vehicles,” the company said in a press release.

The auto manufacturer increased the prices of the 660cc Suzuki Alto variants by up to Rs 110,000. Following the price hike, Alto VX now costs Rs. 2,331,000, Alto VXR costs Rs. 2,707,000, Alto VXR AGS costs Rs. 2,894,000, and the Alto VXL AGS Rs. 3,045,000.

Suzuki Cultus AGS experienced the biggest price increase of Rs. 180,000 and its new price is Rs. 4,546,000. Similarly, the prices of Suzuki Swift GL MT and Swift GLX CVT have been increased by Rs. 85,000.

This recent announcement follows closely on the heels of LMC's earlier price reductions this month, where models such as the Picanto, Sportage, and Sorento experienced price cuts of Rs. 500,000 each.
